“I had never stopped thinking about the ideal motor car… All I had to do was construct a plant to build it.” – Ferruccio Lamborghini.

The accessible Lamborghini Museum is located just outside “Bologna”, this accessible museum is entitled to “Ferruccio Lamborghini” who, during the last century, revolutionized the automotive industry as well as the current luxury standards when it comes to cars. In 2004, “Ferruccio’s son, Tonino Lamborghini”, wanted this museum with the aim of honoring his father....

In fact, the museum records “Ferruccio’s” life through its inventions and a huge amount of family pictures. The museum is entirely accessible with wheelchair. It extends on an area of 5000 square meters e retraces “Ferruccio’s” creations. The accessible tour allows visitors to admire all his creations, from the “Carioca” (the first tractor made in 1947, which launched Ferruccio’s firm) to all the cars made in the following decades. “The Miura series” has a special place inside the collection: “Ferruccio Lamborghini” presented “the P400 model” at the Geneva International Motor Show in 1966 and the car obtained so much success that it was exhibited at the “MOMA in New York” two years later, where nowadays can still be admired. The museum also houses other models such as “the Fiat Barchetta Sport” (which was modified in order to take part to the race of the Mille Miglia in 1948), the futuristic” Countach” and the “Espada,” with its gull-wind-opening car doors. The movie “Back to the future” took inspiration exactly from the “Espada model”.
