The “Turin City of Cinema 2020” project was presented at the Venice Lido for the 76th International Film Festival. It is a complex of initiatives that will animate the Piedmontese capital for the entire 2020 when the National Cinema Museum will celebrate twenty years of activity within the Mole Antonelliana, the city of Turin will offer citizens, tourists and professionals in the sector the opportunity to take part in various events that will show the historical cinematic vitality of the city. A liveliness, that of the local cinema system, which has become more and more solid thanks to the many actors that operate in the city and the many cinema events that these propose. “Turin City of Cinema 2020” will bring together in its program all the traditional film events of the territory and, at the same time, will involve all the Turin cultural institutions with the aim of creating “cinematographic contaminations” in each field of excellence. To celebrate 20 years at the Mole Antonelliana, the National Cinema Museum will allow you to discover how the fabulous costumes of so many masterpieces of cinema are born.
