If you love cycling in the midst of nature, you will be absolutely impatient to try this new cycle path whose project has been promoted by the Piedmont Region, the provinces of Vercelli and Novara, the parks of Ticino, Po, Collina Torinese and Lake Maggiore and the Canale Cavour. The new bike path that will link Milan and Turin should be ready by 2020. The route that will connect the two cities will be 82 km long and will run alongside Canale Cavour. Construction work should be completed over the next year. We will start in the area between Chivasso and Crescentino and then reach Canale Cavour. After about 30 km the route will arrive near the town of Galliate, on the Ticino river. The route will then follow along the pre-existing cycle path from Sesto Calende to the Navigli.
