The Japanese Cultural Institute of Rome opens its gate in March, the Institute is situated in Valle Giulia area.
The garden was built after the project made by the famous Japanese architect Ken
Nakajima, on the ground that the Rome’s Municipality has provided according to
Diplomatic agreements. Nakajima was also involved in the project of Japanase section in the Botanical Garden in Rome.
Cherry trees, wisteria, irises and dwarf characterize Japanese garden… Veranda, which overlooks the pond, is one of the best point of view to enjoy the garden. The stones, which shape the waterfall, are taken from Tuscany’s countryside.
