A fascinating tour to retrace step by step all the sites and locations that have been the background of the last movie of Paolo Sorrentino: “The great beauty”, winner of best foreign language Oscar 2014....
The itinerary includes the visit of the terrace of Janiculum, where they were shot the first few scenes of the film, the equestrian monument dedicated to Giuseppe Garibaldi and the cannon located in the beautiful panoramic terrace that still fires blanks every Sunday at 12.00, the Fountain Acqua Paola, the Temple of San Pietro in Montorio, the Aventine hill with the square of the Knights of Malta and the keyhole of the order of the secret garden, then the Park of the Aqueducts.
You will have lunchtime inside the luxurious Palazzo Manfredi on the beautiful terrace overlooking the Colosseum (lunch is based on availability and a la carte menu is not included in the cost of the tour).
After lunch, you will visit the Baths of Caracalla and Palazzo Spada, with the famous Prospective of Francesco Borromini.
