Fiumicino Airport in Rome and Venice are finally connected
Reaching Florence, Pisa, La Spezia, Genoa and Venice from Rome’s main airport Fiumicino will not be impossible anymore.
Trenitalia’s high-speed train service is the solution to this problem. In fact, the Italian transport company announced that starting from 18th December the rail link will start operating regularly.
Four departing times a day are confirmed, and two have been introduced: one of them is from Milan, during the morning, and another one is from Venezia Santa Lucia, in the evening.
This is just the first step to introduce a similar direct high-speed rail link to Milan’s biggest and main airport Malpensa, which is expected to be brought into use within a few months.
This is a great chance for all the ones who want to travel from Rome to any of these places, with no need of changing trains to get to your favorite destination.
