The winter season is starting at 1 December 2018 and it will last until 19 April 2019, and it’s scheduling many events, involving a torchlight parade in 31 December 2018; night skiing, festivals and competition. In the area there are also snowparks for children, like the Gormiti park or the animation for children like “The Mini club”. Bormio gives you also the option to try a freeride in the numerous snowparks, or the exciting paragliding.

Moreover, Bormio Ski host the event “Teleflex Winter Cup” planned by “Freerider Sport Events”, which organize outdoor events for disabled people. The teachers of the associations are disable too, in order to accurately show people, the abilities that they still have with their bodies. Freerider Sport Events have gained a lot of success since 2001, the year of its foundation and about 7200 participants have attended their ski tours. The Freerider Sport Event wants to transmit the idea that there are no barriers that a man cannot overcome.
