Accessible Tour of Siena – Tuscany
Our accessible tour starts from the heart of the city: Piazza del Campo, the spectacular shell-shaped square where every year the famous horse racing known as “Palio di Siena” takes place. In this beautiful square of the city, characterized by red brick pavement, you can admire the majestic Palazzo Pubblico, which, inside, is decorated by allegories of Lorenzetti and where you can find the interesting City Museum, which is worth a visit.
The square of Siena is also well-known for its magnificent Torre del Mangia, which is 120 meters high. Later on, you will proceed towards Piazza San Giovanni, where you will visit and admire the 14th century St. Giovanni’s Baptistery.
After that, you will reach the beautiful and breathtaking Piazza Duomo, where you will be able to visit the Gothic Cathedral, which hosts works made by artists such as: Michelangelo, Bernini and Donatello. Next to the Cathedral there are the Museo dell’Opera Metropolitana and the well-known Santa Maria della Scala, both worth a visit.
