Accessible tour of Capitoline Museums – Rome
The Capitoline Museums are the main public museums in the city of Rome. They are located inside the Palazzo dei Conservatori and the Palazzo Novo, two buildings overlooking Piazza del Campidoglio, the famous square made by Michelangelo.
An underground tunnel links the two complexes passing through the Capitoline Hill and giving access to a terrace overlooking the Roman Forum. The museums house beautiful frescos interiors and unique treasures of the ancient world, such as The Good Fortune of Caravaggio in the gallery area, and the statues of the Capitoline Wolf and of the Capitoline Venus in the sculpture section, just to name a few.
On request, with an extra cost, it is possible to have an accessible transfer with vehicle equipped with lift.
