What was Healthcare Art some centuries ago?
In Rome is located the National Historic Museum of Healthcare Art. Its founders are Giovanni Carbonelli and Pietro Capparoni and they originally gave to the museum an educational purpose...
The idea for the creation of the current museum came from the International Exhibition of Retrospective Art, occured in Rome during 1911.
In fact, the museum includes historical collections, which were joined to the former collection of the 1911 Exhibition.
Furthermore, the museum also boasts a well-provided library, in which there are books dating from the 16th to the 20th centuries. The library includes books printed in the 16th century by Aldo Manuzio and his son, as well as manuscripts dating to the end of the 18th century.
And what do you think about spending a different day visiting the most “strange” places in Rome? The “Horror Tour” is the perfect idea if you love the genre! You can find it in our “Private Tours” section.
