“Life is the messy bits.”
The 2010 movie with Amanda Seyfried is set mainly in Verona where the protagonist (Sophie) visits Juliet’s house located in Via cappello and walks around the city center reaching the notorious Arena. She spends time in Piazza delle Erbe, one of the oldest and most famous in town where each day there’s a giant market. Another notable place is Piazzetta Tirabosco where ancient roman buildings have been found underground. Nearby this square there’s the famous “pozzo degli innamorati”, another iconic location for couples. The museum of juliet is one of the main attractions: the walls of the lodge are covered with phrases and love letters. You can even visit the balcony to re-create the famous scene. The house hosts temporary exhibitions and it is also available to celebrate weddings.
