Became a true gladiator with this Gladiator Class in Rome!
The Gladiator Class is an experience targeted to kids. Here a professional teacher will teach you to fight like a real gladiator of ancient Rome, a perfect activity for kids who want to feel like the ancient fighters of the Colosseum! During the Gladiator Class you will learn about the techniques the gladiators used to fight each other, and you will be given historically accurate (but safe!) reproductions of the weapons that the gladiators used.....
Before the lesson you will be given an introduction to roman history, and you will be able to visit the museum. In the museum you will learn all the details of the life of the gladiators.
During the Gladiator Class, a teacher will teach you the basic techniques of the fight using the “gladio”, the typical sword of the gladiators. The gladiators of Ancient Rome lived a life of discipline and training. They were experienced in fighting against other people and wild animals, and they used a variety of weapons: spears, tridents, nets, shields, and of course the “gladio”. Women could be gladiators too, they were just a lot rarer than their male counterparts.
At the end of the Gladiator Class, you will be given a certificate that proves that you have learned how to fight in the arena!
