From September 5th to March 1st, the Doge’s Palace of Venice will host the riches of Flemish collections: starting from Tiziano, the painter whose artistry in the use of colour influenced heavily the flemish production, the exhibition will keep on showing many others artists such as Peter Paul Rubens, Anthony van Dyck and Michiel Sweerts. Their collections will be exposed in Doge’s apartments, which will be turned into “constkamers”, or rather, rooms decorated by wonderful works of art. In addition, a special section of this show will be dedicated to Adriaan Willaert, the famous Flemish composer who founded the Venetian School of Music. Since these artworks collections are rarely lent, this event is a special opportunity for getting to know the venetian star of the Renaissance painting art, together with other masterworks from flemish artists of the 15th and 16th century.
