Emilia-Romagna is worldwide known for its culinary aspect, combining both tradition and innovation, rustic simplicity and refined complexity. The white truffle of the Emilian Hills is one of the most particular and rare types of truffle, perhaps only behind Alba’s white truffle, considered the finest in the world. Between October 12th and November 10th, in most of the towns located in the whereabouts of Bologna, will take place the “Tartufesta” series of food festivals. The typical tuber will be shown and tasted in every possible way, combining traditional dishes with the unique touch of this truffle, enjoying the panorama of those less known places surrounded by a peaceful atmosphere and the green countryside.
