From september 25th to february 23th 2020, the Palace of Arts located in Naples will host 80 artworks of the surrealist artist Juan Mirò. This exhibition, dedicated to the fantastic and dreamlike world of the painter, will let you discover the indissoluble connection between the Mirò and his land, Catalonia: each work of art reflects the rural life, the folk art and the colors of Mediterranean landscapes that always fascinated him. The evolution of his career reached a turning point when he met the Surrealists, as from that moment he conceived a new idea of art: forms became fantastic, abstract, without ever abandoning real components. Paintings, drawings, sculptures, tapestries and collages will be subdivided into sections, which will trace the career of the artist from 1924 to 1986, showing the various artistic phases he experienced.
