Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera are the symbols of the Mexican artistic and cultural avant-garde of the twentieth century. Frida Kahlo, the woman icon of the contemporary art, an artist with a troubled life characterized by adventures, passions and delusions, left to the world an artistic heritage beyond comparison, while his lover Diego Rivera was one of the most representative personality of the muralism movement. The exhibition will display the life story of Frida and Diego through letters, paintings, pages of diary, objects of daily life and photographs through a technology that will offer a new perspective. In addition, there will be exposed some original paitings never showed before, like the portrait of Frida painted by Rivera in 1954. Through different thematic itineraries it is possibile to know the mind and the life style of the artist, in particular discovering the relation between Frida, politics and art. The show will take place in Rome, from 12 October to 29 March 2020, in SET Spazio Eventi Tirso.
