From September 20 an exhibition dedicated to the great Russian artist Chagall take place at Palazzo Albergati in Bologna. Jewish culture, Russian and Western culture, his love for literature, his deep religious beliefs, the pure concept of Love and that of tradition, the feeling for his ever-beloved wife Bella, in 160 works including paintings, drawings, watercolors and incision. Memories of childhood, fairy tales, poetry, religion and exodus coexist, a universe of brightly colored dreams, of intense nuances that give life to landscapes populated by characters, real or imaginary, that crowd into the artist’s imagination. The exhibition will remain open until March 1, 2020, and it is divided into five sections summarizing all the themes dear to Chagall cited above.
