Thanks to the project ‘Museums without barriers’, disabled people will enjoy visiting Civic museums in Rome with a series of planned initiatives that will guarantee complete accessibility to sites of cultural heritage.
The program ‘Animal at hand’, organized by the Civic museum of zoology, consists of a tactical and sensorial itinerary that allow blind people to discover nature and the importance of preserving it. This guided visit through every hall of the museum will include the stimulus of olfactory, tactical and hearing senses: you will listen to animals’ sounds, touch bones, specimens and also smell the real essence of nature. Then, don’t miss this chance and let’s go experimenting the joy of knowledge in an innovative way!
