Tuscany is one of the most important Italian regions for wine production and some of its products are famous worldwide such as the Chianti, the Brunello di Montalcino, and the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.

The Chianti red wine was historically bottled in the “flask”, a typical Italian style of bottle with a round bottom and a flat base but today only a few makers still use it. For the most part, this wine is made with Sangiovese wine grape variety, typical of central Italy; the Brunello di Montalcino is made with 100% Sangiovese variety and the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano which needs to be aged for 2 years one of which in oak barrels.
