Come and visit Garda Lake without worries. Garda Lake is the largest lake in Italy, it touches three regions: Lombardy, Veneto and Trentino and it is located between two important cities, Milan and Venice.
One of the most characteristic and beautiful places of this area, is Sirmione, which is located in the central southern part of the lake. Sirmione looks like a floating island: to enter the city you have to cross an accessible bridge and immediately you are immersed in the village, populated by shops, bars and restaurant. But the most surprising thing is the castle, symbol of the city, which is located on the lake and this gives it a magical and fairy-tale atmosphere.
Another beautiful pearl of Garda lake is Salò, that is rich of art and history. Its major attractions are the clock tower, located in Vittorio Emanuele II square; podestà Palace and the accessible Duomo, equipped with ramps to guarantee entrance to wheelchair users.
Now let’s go further north and we discover another beautiful town: Gardone riviera, characterized by the elegance of the palaces and vintage villas. Its most famous monument is the accessible Vittoriale. It is a complex of buildings, streets, squares and gardens, which preserves the house and tomb of Gabriele d’Annunzio.
But Garda Lake is not only history and breathtaking landascapes… it is also famous for its good food and good products like wine and oil. So, let’s get ready and go discover Garda Lake!
