Accessible tour – Michelangelo
Discover the masterpieces of Michelangelo Buonarroti, the most famous sculptor of the 16th century and admire his works in the churches of Rome.
During the accessible tour, you will visit St. Peter’s Basilica, which hosts one of his early masterpieces, the “Pietà” and the “Mosè”, an unfinished work for the tomb of his patron Pope Julius II, in the Church of St. Peter in Chains.
Then, you will find out the Church of Saint Mary Above Minerva with one of the less known works of the master, “Christ Carrying the Cross”.
The accessible tour will end on the Capitoline Hill, with the Capitol Square, where you will admire Michelangelo’s skills as an outstanding architect.
On request, with an extra cost, it is possible to have an accessible transfer with vehicle equipped with lift.
