In this itineray you will savour the delights of Tuscany’s neighbours, less visited but not less rich in cultural
and artistic tradition. You will start with Assisi, the most important Umbrian town and birthplace
of St. Francis. Then you will experience the multi-ethnic atmosphere of Perugia and the wine atmosphere of Torgiano, without forgetting the visit to the charming towns of Deruta and Bettona. 

Day 1 - ASSISI - Arrival and check in at the Country Inn. Dinner and overnight at the Farmhouse or Country Resort.
Day 2 - ASSISI, DERUTA and BETTONA - Buffet breakfast. In the morning you will visit the peaceful town of Assisi with all its magnificent monuments  . But if you want to reach and live St. Francis mysticism, we recommend you the visit to the Hermitage on Mt.Subasio (just 4 km far from the Assisi’s gates). In the afternoon you will reach Deruta, one of the most important Italian towns for the production of hand-made pottery. For the night we’ve booked your dinner in a  typical Restaurant of Bettona (10 km from Assisi). This suggestive but unknown hilltop village is surrounded by vineyards and olive trees and offers a beautiful view on the valley between Perugia and Assisi. Overnight at the farmhouse/Country Resort.
Day 3 - TORGIANO and PERUGIA - Buffet breakfast. The morning will be dedicated to the visit of Torgiano, a hilltop village also known in Italy as one of the most important “wine town”. In fact you will have the opportunity to visit there the“Museo del Vino” (Wine Museum) with many important historical findings from all over the world. We’ve booked for you a wine tasting in a “enoteca”. The rest of the day is dedicated to Perugia, the “Capital” of Umbria and a singular mixture of Art, Culture, Jazz and…..Chocolate (in October Perugia always celebrates the Festival of Chocolate - a unique experience to taste all different kinds of chocolate!). Dinner and  overnight at the Farmhouse or Country Resort.
Day 4 - UMBRIA - Buffet breakfast and departure for your next destination.

THE ABOVE RATE INCLUDES:
Accomodation in a typical farmhouse in the area of Assisi, all rooms with private bathroom, swimming-pool, restaurant with typical Umbrian dishes, private parking.

Accomodation in a beautiful Country Resort (located at about 8 km from Assisi and 7 km from Perugia). All rooms elegantly decorated and provided with all modern comfort (sat TV, air conditioned, safe deposit box, hairdryer).  Restaurant, swimming pool with salted water, tennis court, parking, and a modern new SPA with indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, calidarium, icy fountain, circular shower with water treatments, relaxing area with “swing beds and music therapy”, fully equipped fitness area, massage cabins and solarium.
